1. Your pooch is required to have an evaluation. Preferably this is performed during a FREE pooch play session. If you are unable to bring your dog during that time, then an evening or weekend time will be made available for you to visit. We usually have dogs on site that your dog can play with.
2. Your pooch will not be accepted into playgroup if it has any people, dog, possession, or territorial aggressions. Sometimes these aggressions are not seen immediately. Please discuss your concerns prior to the evaluation. Also, just because your dog is dominant... doesn't mean that it is aggressive.
3. After we agree that your pooch can attend play group. You may set your pooch on a consistent or varying schedule. The price varies depending on how frequent you send your pooch. Please see price list for current prices.
4. If you choose to vary your pooches schedule please send your play date requests no later than the weekend prior to that play week.
5. Every Monday a weekly Pooch Play schedule will be sent to your email. Please check this list to ensure that your dog is scheduled for the days that you have requested. This is for your verification. The schedule is not in the order of pick up.
6. Your pooch is required to be current on all vaccinations. Bordatella is required every 6 months for Pooch Play. We currently work with Dr Mike, of Treuting Veterinarian Housecalls, to provide you with Bordatella for only $20. This option is available only on particular scheduled days. See our events calendar.
7. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the K-9 Cruiser will start picking up dogs around 8am. If the bus is full, then our route will take approximately 2 hours to pick up all the dogs in North Bend and Snoqualmie. The dogs will be picked up and dropped off in the same order, allowing for each dog to have equal bus time.
8. Upon arriving at the yard the dogs are allowed to romp, jump, run, play, and have a good time. The play ground monitor will attempt to control digging, excessive humping, barking and over all rough play. If your pooch’s behavior is not controlled with verbal warnings or the super soaker, then we will discuss alternate methods with you.
9. Playtime lasts approximately 2 hours. This can be cut slightly shorter by rainy weather. If it is rainy, we will stop play a bit early to start the dry off process. At our facility we have a dry off station. It is equipped with a table, tie outs, and a dog dryer. Your dog should come home reasonably clean and dry. If your dog has issues with the dry off, then we will make every attempt to work with them, but ultimately they could come home wet. Please leave a towel near the door, if you would like your dog's paws wiped off before entering the house.
10. Your pooch returns home pooped out from mental and physical exhaustion. One happy hound. J
Our Rules / Guidelines
1. Un-spayed females are not accepted at any age. Un-neutered males are accepted with the right temperament. Minimum age requirement is 4 months.
2. Your dog should wear a collar in good condition. We use their collars to attach them the tie outs on the bus. If their collar is loose, then we may use one of our collars. We prefer not to have to stop the bus and reattach your dog, so please insure that their collar is not too loose. Tags can get knocked off during play or on the bus. We will make every effort to get these back to you… if found. A good identification tag is recommended. We recommend that you attach your tags with an "s" hook, not a ring.
3. Your dog should be fed hours before play or not at all. Please insure that your dog has been to potty before the bus arrives.
4. Dogs are given only three accidents on the bus, then alternate arrangements will have to be made for transportation.
5. Do not send your dog if they act sick, look sick, are sick, or have been sick within the last 7 days.
6. If you send your dog with a bandana or fancy stuff... there is no guarantee it will come back in the same condition or even at all.
7. It is highly recommended that your pooch be on a flea prevention program.
For Your Information
1. I attempt to take pictures every day and to get every dog in the pictures. Over the weekend a slide show of pictures will be sent to your email address. If you would like me to send any picture directly to you, please email me with the picture number.
2. On play day, if you would like to know approximately what time your pooch will be picked up, you may contact us the morning, after 9am and I will give you my best guess. You do not have to be home for pick up or drop off.
